Afro beat legend Fela Kuti with some of his 27 wives
Musician and Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, once married twenty seven (27) women in one day in 1978. . He lived with all these women in the same house in a compound which he referred to as Kalakuta Republic.
He divorced all of the wives later.
