The Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has donated three additional motorcycles to strengthen the security architecture of the local government area.
The council chairman donated the motorcycles during the local government’s October edition of the Peace and Security meeting held at the chairman’s office.
One of the motorcycles was given to the Apata Police Divisional office, the second motorcycle went to the Ile-Ido Security and Civil Defence Corps, and the third motorcycle was received by the Ido-Apata Federal Road Safety Commission.
In addition to the motorcycles donated, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo equally supported the Department of State Security Services, Operation Burst, with cash gifts to support their surveillance, while Mr Bayo David of the State Intelligent Department, who is proceeding on retirement, was appreciated with cash gifts for his relentless effort while in active service.
Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo said his administration will continue to do everything to support the efficiency and effectiveness of security operatives in his domains.
The additional motorcycles given are to aid the performance of security operatives in Ido to support the security vans and to be able to parade all the nooks and corners within their jurisdictions.
Mr. Bayo David in his his appreciation message commended the chairman for his security consciousness and the love he has for the people of the Ido local government
He described Hon. Adeojo as a pleasant person to work with and called on his colleagues to feel free to put in their best for the local government and wish them all the best.
