Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III, Ajirotutu the first has bagged the African category of HAPA AWARDS of African Culture and Heritage. The award was presented to Ajirotutu who represented Nigeria at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPAwards) held at the Historic Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles, California, United States of America. The event that showcased the celebration of not only the African but the global talents served as a bridge between the cultures and recognizing excellence across various fields. Aseyin who has been a vanguard of profound moments of cultural representation and unity for his country, Nigeria and the Yoruba people on the international stage was glamorously celebrated by Nigerians from different States in the USA. In his address, Ajirotutu commended efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Nigeria for making the representation of the country at the memorable event a reality. He dedicated the award to the good people of Iseyinland, Oyo State, Nigeria and Africa at large, being the continent he is representing at the event. Aseyin has been recognized internationally as a Frontline Oba whose major concerns remain unity, peace and prosperity among people of Iseyin, Oke Ogun, Oyo State and Nigeria as a country.Â
